Preston Trail Farms and The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm

Want a great way to give children a hands-on farming experience? Join us at the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm at Preston Trail Farms, started by the Kimbrell family in 1997. Adults and children will experience blossoming and small green pumpkins right on the vine, romp on hay bales and interact with 50 different farm animals.

Learn about farm life and what makes each animal special. Get a taste of the country life and enjoy a hayride. There are interactive signs throughout the farm to help children learn more about all of the varieties of animals and pumpkins.

Preston Trail Farms, set along the historic Shawnee Trail is the new home of the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm! Preston Trail Farms is a year-round destination farm that offers a quaint general store, access to fresh local foods and an escape to a simpler and more sustainable lifestyle. Don’t worry. We will continue to offer the “life on the farm” experience that you and your family have come to love.

In addition, the feed and general store serves as a hub for local rural residents providing convenient access to feed and other needed products and services.

Weekdays (Monday through Friday) – $12 per person
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) – $15 per person – Farm Train included!
